You … serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbour as yourself.”
Galatians 5:13-14
The Lord Jesus told his disciples that their love for each other was the unique feature, that, in the eyes of the world, would mark them out as his followers. A love that rises above the petty jealousies and self-interest which dogs the footsteps of all whose hearts are not transformed by Christ’s agape love.
