But Christ is faithful as the Son over God’s house. And we are his house, if indeed we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope in which we glory.
Hebrews 3:6
It is of great assurance that our salvation in our Lord Jesus is secure in him. (Jn.10:28) Some may think this verse in Hebrews may be read that it’s dependent upon us. It’s not, as it’s referring to God’s house today. That’s what the writer is encouraging us to hold onto. It is conditional upon faithful baptised believers added together to form his house, holding fast by faith to the apostles teaching and not letting go. There will be rejoicing in the end.
