The more we give, the more we’ll receive, is a universal principle. An old Scots saying says: a gauin’ fit’s aye getting – meaning: an industrious person is always gathering something of value. The more time and effort you invest in anything, the more you’ll get back. The more you open your heart to God, the more God’s heart will be opened to you.
