How shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation?

How can we describe the wonderful salvation of our Saviour? The salvation the writer refers to is the salvation of our lives of service for the Lord NOT the salvation of our souls. His readers are encouraged not to neglect their spiritual walk for the Lord, but to evaluate their lives of service before him and walk worthily of their calling. Let us not neglect our faithfulness to his house and its ordinances as the Lord Jesus is Son over his Father’s house whose house are we if we hold fast our confidence to the end (Heb 3:6).
