Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise.
1 Corinthians 3:18
This doesn’t mean you should turn your back on knowledge per se. It simply means that when the wisdom of this world contradicts the wisdom of God, we should reject the world’s wisdom in favour of God’s wisdom. Two obvious examples are moral relativism and salvation by works.
