Job 23:10
To purify gold, it must be heated to very high temperatures under a flame. The more intense the heat, the more the impurities are separated from it. God wants to refine our character to be like his Son. He went through the furnace of the cross, that we might shine brightly for him. James 1:2 says to count it all joy when you fall into various trials.
