Why is that? The writer explains it’s because he, in every respect, has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Amazing! Not only the natural temptations caused by hunger, pain or tiredness, but also those trials which are direct attacks from Satan. Confronted by either, he can empathise, drawing on his own earthly experience. Furthermore, with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape. (1 Cor.10:13) How blessed we are to have such an understanding, sinless Saviour.
