Moses’ father-in-law replied, “What you are doing is not good. You and these people who come to you will only wear yourselves out. The work is too heavy for you; you cannot handle it alone.”

Overwork impairs leadership at every level: better to delegate and prepare tomorrow’s leaders. It’s a signal of trust, and if you feel you can’t, what’s missing? A training programme? Or is it a deeper need for winning souls, and making disciples who will be load-bearers? Take it to the Lord in prayer and follow his lead.
