“If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it … But even if he does not … we will not … worship the image of gold you have set up.”
Daniel 3:17-18
These brave men had no specific prior assurance that they would be delivered, but they knew without question that God was able to do it. Such was the strength of their faith and commitment that even if they had to give up their lives, they would never renounce their faith in God. What an example to all believers who face challenges to their faith convictions today! God honours those who honour him. The faith of these three was vindicated in this instance through their deliverance.
