The high priests denied the divine kingship of the man standing before them.
Pilate denied ordinary human justice to the man standing before him.
What a failing of humanity!
But God has made him King of Kings (Rev.17:14) and he will bring justice to all the nations (Is.42:1).
What a vindication from heaven!
