Those presenting an offering of silver or bronze brought it as an offering to the LORD, and everyone who had acacia wood for any part of the work brought it.
Exodus 35:24
So we may bring to our service, thoughts of the wonderful deity of the Son of God; the silver symbolising our ransom as sons to serve; or the acacia wood that depicts his humanity—enduring in quality, and formed by suffering the winds and storms of life here. Thus, we are helped to take character from him.
