“I will fasten him as a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father’s house. And they shall hang upon him all the glory of his father’s house.”

Isaiah 22:23-24 (KJV)

As boys, not able to afford to buy nails, we would go round the building sites and pick up all the bent ones and straighten them so we could use them in our simple building projects.

The absolutely secure nail, our Lord Jesus, went around and picked all the bent and twisted nails (lives) and gave them a sure place in himself to be used in his service. One day he will be the sure nail that will rule the world and all his glory will be on display to all peoples and nations.
