Out of respect for David, and for the wisdom Solomon showed, Hiram supplied the finest timber for the house of God, and artificers who led the team working on its furnishing. In return, the land that God blessed yielded wheat and pressed oil. As we give ourselves to building the house, we receive the finest food from the Word, and light, healing and grace from the Spirit who guided its writing.
