For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters.

The COVID 19 virus resulted in pressure on us to conform to government dictates and get vaccinated for our protection and the protection of others. Paul is writing to the church of God in Rome with a wonderful doctrinal principle of being conformed to the image of the Lord Jesus Christ, and he warns them (12:2) not to be conformed to this world. Conform means to become the same in character and action. Let us be diligent in making sure we conform to the image of the Lord Jesus by heeding and following his teachings by the leading of the Holy Spirit.
