Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced.
Psalm 105:5
Looking back can be a sad experience, understandably in situations such as thinking of a loved one, no longer here. Remembering what God has done for us can only bring us joy. It’s a positive action for it gives us confidence for today. The previous verse encourages this:
Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.
