“I will say to those called ‘Not my people,’ ‘You are my people’; and they will say, ‘You are my God.’ “
Hosea 2:23
Paul applies this verse to Gentile believers in Romans chapter 9. God will own both Jews and Gentiles as his people, when they put their trust in the righteousness of Christ and not in their own good works. The one who believes in him will never be put to shame. (Rom.9:33)
