He placed the cherubim inside the innermost room of the temple, with their wings spread out. The wing of one cherub touched one wall, while the wing of the other touched the other wall, and their wings touched each other in the middle of the room.

1 Kings 6:27

In Solomon’s temple the cherubim of glory, overlaid with gold, faced outwards, a lesson to those in God’s house to uphold testimony to the world, of a quality worthy of the Son over God’s house. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we can pass on to any who listen, the beauties of our sanctuary worship.
