And we all, who … contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

A popular film series ‘Transformers’ was based on objects suddenly being transformed into huge powerful giants that could do unimaginable things. This verse tells us that we are being (or should be) transformed into the image of the Lord. Like the caterpillar transforming into a beautiful butterfly, we even more so, should be transformed into the image of our Saviour – a lifetime job.
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
