Deuteronomy 16:11-12
Pentecost was the fiftieth day after the start of the harvest and an opportunity to give freely back to God for all that he had done for the people. This morning we remember with rejoicing all he has done through Christ, bringing us out of slavery to sin into an eternal relationship with him. Let us freely give to him today, starting with worship in his dwelling.
