“Produce fruit in keeping with repentance …The axe is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.”

Genuine repentance for sin always results in the good fruit of changed behaviour. Fake repentance talks a good game, but the behaviour doesn’t change. God is the divine woodcutter. Those who refuse to turn from their sin will be permanently cut down and destroyed.
