The LORD will be a refuge for his people, a stronghold for the people of Israel.
Joel 3:16
Refuge has the meaning of shelter/trust, and stronghold means safety/protection. Our God is the very same today as he was in Israel’s day: “I the LORD do not change” (Mal.3:6), and we can trust him implicitly for all things.
