It was now about noon, and darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon, for the sun stopped shining.
It took six days for God to complete his great work of creation. No human brain can conceive the creative immensity of every second of those six days. We have no possible way of measuring this awesome power.
It took three hours of dreadful darkness for God to complete his great work of redemption. No human brain can conceive or measure the immensity of the Saviour’s suffering through every second, but now we are his new creation, justified by his awesome sacrifice.
