The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”

‘Just believe’ is too vague! We need to really believe that the Lord Jesus is the Son of God who came into this world to give his life as a sacrifice for sin. We need to know, like the jailer, that we are in no position to save ourselves. We need to trust the God who saves sinners. We need to believe!
