Since ancient times no one has heard, no eye has perceived,
no eye has seen any God besides you,
who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.

Isaiah 64:4

Today, as we approach God in prayer, we should bind these words on our hearts. Our God, since ancient times, has a great design, a wonderful future which he has prepared for those who love him. No one has ever seen such a God as ours: such a God who waits to richly reward those who put their trust in him: a God who acts with such power on our behalf.
