The pressures of modern life can make our schedules so rushed that even finding any time in the day to be in the Lord’s presence, in the Word and in prayer, is a major achievement. However, there’s still much to be said about the particular blessing of trying to ensure we start our day with an unhurried time of devotion with the Lord.
