My heart is not proud, LORD, my eyes are not haughty;
I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me.

Psalm 131:1

Too big for their boots is an expression used in the UK to describe someone with an arrogant, over-exaggerated sense of their own importance.
In contrast, this psalm expresses the humble attitude of someone who understands and appreciates their place in the great purposes of God – irrespective of their status in this world – and faithfully rests in the comfort of the Lord’s love.
