‘The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son,
and they will call him Immanuel’ (which means ‘God with us’).

Matthew 1:23

What’s in a name? asks Juliet in Shakespeare’s play, for Romeo has a family name that prevents her associating with him, because of a blood feud.
Consider Immanuel – a name so full of meaning for us since that day of the incarnation. He was here, with us on earth, shed his blood for us, and he has promised to be with us even until the end of the age (Matt.28:20) and then we will be with him, forever! (1 Thess.4:17)
What’s in a name is a statement for us, not a question.
