Ruth 2:4

Thus Boaz, Ruth’s redeemer, greeted the reapers when he came from Bethlehem. Our Redeemer also came to us from Bethlehem.
Immanuel – God with us.
Boaz’s words to the reapers take on an added significance and our hearts reply: ‘The Lord bless you!’
We bless and praise thee gracious God
For giving thine own Son,
Who did partake of flesh and blood,
In all our sorrows one.
