The craftsman skilfully formed the whole from one ingot of gold, depicting the unity of witness the Lord wants from his people. Evening and morning Eleazar trimmed the wick and replenished the oil.

May we take time daily with the Word, letting the Spirit of God speak of Christ and equip us to shine for him in this dark world, as a united church
