Be strong, and let your heart take courage,
all you who wait for the LORD!

Psalm 31:24 (ESV)

Waiting can be tiresome and frustrating at times, even boring. Not to David though. It all depends on what one is waiting for and what one is doing while waiting. Paul wrote of the Thessalonians that they had turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God, and to wait for his Son from heaven (1 Thes.1:9-10).
As we wait for the return of our Lord and Master, are we living busy lives of service and praise? If so, there will be no time to get frustrated or bored and waiting will be satisfying and rewarding. Take courage!
