The Sovereign LORD is my strength; 
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, 
he enables me to tread on the heights.

Habakkuk 3:9

The deer has feet that are steady and strong, enabling it to jump over difficult rocks and crevices, and navigate steep, rocky mountain sides.

Likewise, the Sovereign Lord will give us surefooted confidence to cope with the many ups and downs of life, enabling us to run the race with great success!
