“I will gain glory through Pharaoh and all his army, through his chariots and his horsemen.” And when the Israelites saw the mighty hand of the LORD displayed against the Egyptians, the people feared the LORD and put their trust in him.
The Red Sea defeat of the Egyptian army, the enemy of God, brought God glory. His redeemed people were in awe.
To the world, Calvary’s hill seems a place of shame and failure, but it was how Satan’s power was to be broken. It has gained even more glory for God, and a part of that is the honour and praise we offer him. Seeing the mighty hand of God, we stand in awe, and we worship.
