“’My house will be called a house of prayer’, but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’”

Matthew 21:13

The Lord was greatly displeased to see the way in which his Father’s house was being misused; no wonder he drove out the traders and moneylenders! David expressed the same attitude – for zeal for your house has eaten me up’ (Ps.69:9) articulating his ambition to, dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life (Ps.27:4). How about us? How do we value and use God’s house today? Is it a place for prayer as well as for worship; for the Assembly prayers as well as the Remembrance?
