Now when Daniel learned that the decree had been published, he went home to his upstairs room where the windows opened toward Jerusalem. Three times a day he got down on his knees and prayed, giving thanks to his God, just as he had done before. Then these men went as a group and found Daniel praying and asking God for help.
What a testimony. The men sent to arrest him found him on his knees praying and asking for God for help. This was not a one-off panic prayer desperately calling to God; this was, as was his custom from early days (NKJV). What a wonderful habit he had developed over his life. Is it our custom to spend time in prayer even once a day?
