Philippians 2:8-9

What a contrast: from the lowest depths of man’s humiliation, crucifixion, to the utmost pinnacle of God’s exaltation at his Father’s side. Paul describes him as not just exalted (held in highest esteem, and glorified), but highly exalted! He uses similar language, describing the risen Christ as seated at God’s right hand far above all rule and authority, power and dominion (Eph.1:21). How privileged we are this morning to be able to bring our praise and worship to God through our highly exalted and glorified Lord.
