She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.

The word kindness in this verse is the Hebrew word checed. It is often translated as loving-kindness or mercy when describing God’s dealings with his people. Dr Strong suggests it can also imply our piety or goodness towards God. The apostle James, writing to born again believers, expands these thoughts further: the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere (Jam.3:17).
