Do not say, ‘Why were the old days better than these?’ For it is not wise to ask such questions.

Ecclesiastes 7:10

There’s a natural tendency to look back at the ‘good old days’, especially when current times are difficult as they are now living with the COVID-19 pandemic. But nostalgia generally gives us a bit of a misleadingly ‘rose-tinted’ view of the past!
Let’s stop mourning for yesterday or worrying about tomorrow. Remember what the Lord said to his disciples, ‘Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.’ (Matt.6:34) Instead, we should concentrate on putting all our efforts and energy into serving him today.
