When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshipped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
How strange it must have seemed to Marys neighbours, that these wealthy strangers were so excited by a carpenters young son. The wise men had followed his star, visited palaces, discussed with kings, for they knew he was the One to be worshipped.
Let us find time today to worship our King, who humbled himself.
