I cried aloud to the LORD and he answered me from his holy hill. I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the LORD sustained me.

Psalm 3:3-4

Once again, David was on the run, this time from Absalom. As previously, he cried to the Lord; and as always, the Lord answered him. Despite his fears, David was able to get some much-needed sleep and wake refreshed. Are there times when we can’t sleep, wrestling with problems that always seem worse at night? Let’s take advantage of their advice and pass our worries to him: no more sleepless nights!
