Once more he visited Cana in Galilee, where he had turned the water into wine.
Just a small, country village in Galilee, but made famous as the site of our Lords first miracle, when he turned potential embarrassment and disappointment into a joyful occasion. Later in his Gospel (12:1), John describes another return visit which the Lord made to that other small village, Bethany in Judea. This is famous as the place where Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead and turned mourning into rejoicing. Wherever he went, Jesus replaced sorrow with joy, disease with healing and doubt with certainty.
Jesus has not changed: he is still the One who always makes things change for the better!
