“LORD, let your ear be attentive to the prayer of this your servant and to the prayer of your servants who delight in revering your name. Give your servant success today by granting him favour in the presence of this man.
This was a heartfelt, impassioned plea from a man who had a deep burden about an issue before the Lord.
How often do we pray in a similarly impassioned way, to show the Lord how deeply we feel about an issue or circumstance?
It’s not that God is deaf or blind, but our language demonstrates the intensity of the appeal.
