Oh, praise the greatness of our God! He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.
In this inspiring song, Moses – looking back over his life- describes the great God in whom he has put his trust as the Rock. David uses the same metaphor singing, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. (Ps.61:2), and acknowledges in Psalm 62:2, that, He only is my rock and my salvation. Although pebbles when compared to the Rock, these two giants of the Scriptures, sang with one voice having proved in all their dealings with him what a just, righteous and faithful God he was.
Surely our experience echoes theirs: our Rock is perfect.
