But God did not raise his hand against these leaders of the Israelites; they saw God, and they ate and drank.

It’s good to let your imagination get around the experience of the 70+ elders who saw God that day whilst eating and drinking in his presence. They would have so much to retell after, though it was not enough for Nadab and Abihu who later tried to enter God’s presence again, with disastrous consequences.Then we stop our minds wandering and focus on who we see today, and where we go to do that, and how we ‘feast’ upon what he has done, in God’s presence. And we come boldly. So, fix your thoughts on Jesus, the ‘apostle and high priest’ whom we confess.
