The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement.

Leviticus 23:27

To orthodox Jews, this is still the holiest day, the day they say they get closest to God.How grateful we are that God has so clearly spoken to us in his Son though, and we have his presence every day to enjoy. We can also come to the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace to help in a time of need – any day of the year.Don’t miss the wonder of it.
